Golf Society news sheet February 2025
This is beginning of our 2025 season and we will again use this page to inform all members and interested players of what’s happening each month.
This year we held our opening meeting at our new seasonal watering hole and confirmed our new season captain. We welcome Reg on his first time to the position at the same time thanking our past season’s captain Paul Hyatt for his outstanding contribution to the society.
Reg is a long time member of the society. Handicap secretary Pete Bott and society secretary William Bark have agreed to continue this season which again will run from April to September, with our traditional opening and closing local games at the to be arranged.
Information for All Members
- Match fees range from £40 – £60 dependant on location and food supplied.
- Match fees to be paid before each match.
- Prizes for each match.
- Captains trophy to be played for in August.
- All competitions are Stableford scoring.
- Pre- season, mid-season and end of season night out.
